Pool Opening

• Remove debris from cover

• Pump water off of cover

• Wash cover and provide solution for summer storage

• Drain, wash and fold water bags (If applicable)

• Remove return plugs, gizmos and foam rope

• Install directional eyeballs, skimmer baskets and ladder (New ones can be provided for an additional fee)

• Reconnect lights 

• Reconnect diving board (If applicable)

• Connect any water features

• Assemble pump and filter

• Inspect accuracy of all gages

• Bleed cartridge filter of air (If applicable)

• Backwash sand system (If applicable)

• Connect salt cell or auto chlorinator

• Install pressure switch and drain plug for heater (If applicable)

• Start filtration system (If applicable)

• Inspect all equipment for leaks

• Shock pool

• Extras included: Vacuuming, Chemistry balancing and spa openings.
  Pool Closing

• Empty skimmer and pump baskets

• Back wash filter (If applicable)

• Turn off pump and auto controls

• Lower water to returns

• Turn off power supply to pool equipment

• Turn off gas supply to heater

• Remove ladders and other deck furnishings

• Disconnect small water features and blow out lines

• Remove lights (If applicable)

• Remove eyeballs and skimmer baskets

• Blow out skimmers

• Blow out returns and all pool equipment

• Drain pump (Place drain plugs in pump basket)

• Drain filter (Place pressure gage and plugs in pump basket)

• Turn sand filter to winterize (If applicable)

• Remove cartridge filters

• Remove heater, drain plugs and disconnect pressure switch (Place plugs in pump basket)

• Plug all return lines

• Add anti-freeze to skimmer and return lines (Provides additional winter protection)

• Install skimmer plugs/gizmos

• Installation of winter cover

• Extras include: Vacuuming, Chemistry Balancing, Salt cell cleaning and cartridge cleaning
